2019 Women of Excellence Awards

The Portland Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. in partnership with Piedmont Rose Connection, Inc. 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization hosts the annual Women of Excellence Awards to recognize and honor outstanding women from Portland/SW Washington who are accomplished in areas of the arts, community service, education, entrepreneurship, health and wellness, and social justice.

2019 College Scholarship Awards

The Portland Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and Piedmont Rose Connection Inc. offers scholarships to deserving African-American female and male high school seniors from Oregon and southwest Washington. Applicants must plan to pursue higher education at a four-year institution leading to a degree in a profession or applied science. Applicants must have an overall grade point average of 3.00 or above.

Scholarship Selection & Notification

A scholarship committee evaluates submitted applications and selects recipients. Honorees selected to receive a scholarship will be notified in April 2019. Scholarship winners must attend the Women of Excellence event on Saturday, May 18, 2019, where their scholarship will be announced.
